Hello, first of all I would like to echo the sentiment of the, what I am told is called a 'thread title', and welcome both our new and old residents to our 'online' community. What exactly is 'online'? I couldn't tell you! But even if I am speaking to you from far away, the people here are every bit as real.

I'm enjoying the little colourful pictograms. They make everything feel so much more cheerful! Here's one for show!

What a pleasure it is to see this great advancement finally come to life. It is another step towards making this afterlife feel more like home. Now, I wasn't alive for much of the history that makes this significant, but I do know many of you have fond memories of documenting your thoughts and feelings in a public journal.

If this helps us learn a little more about one another, then I am more than happy to cut the red string and welcome you all in!

None of this would have been possible without one of our newer arrivals, who has already thrown themselves into helping the community in a tremendous way. Sollux has spent the last few weeks getting us all connected and helping bring this thing to life! And look at it! It is absolutely spectacular. I have no idea how far its reach might extend, but it certainly feels like the beginning of a grand new adventure!
